How much does a Kenya safari package cost?
Prices depend on trip length, the parks you visit, group size, and the accommodation grade you choose, from budget camps to luxury lodges. Each package listed on this page shows an indicative starting price per person for a shared group departure; private and tailor-made trips are quoted individually. What is included in a Kenya safari package?
Most of our packages include road transport in a safari minivan or 4x4, full-board accommodation, park entry fees, game drives with a professional driver-guide, and airport or hotel pickup in Nairobi. International flights, visa fees, drinks, tips, and optional activities like hot air balloon safaris are usually excluded. Exact inclusions and exclusions are listed on each individual package page.
What is the best time of year for a Kenya safari?
The dry months from late June to October offer the best game viewing, with the Great Wildebeest Migration typically crossing the Masai Mara between July and October. Can I book a private safari instead of joining a shared group?
Yes. Every package on this page can be booked as a private trip for your own group, couple, or family, with your own vehicle and guide and full flexibility on pacing and stops. Private trips are priced differently from shared/joining departures — let us know your group size and we'll send a private quote.
Do I need a visa to visit Kenya?
Most foreign visitors need a Kenya eTA (electronic travel authorization) applied for online before arrival. Requirements vary by nationality, so check our visa guide for details, and let us know if you'd like help with the application process.
How far in advance should I book my Kenya safari?
For peak migration season (July-October) and major holidays, we recommend booking 3-6 months ahead, since the best camps fill up early. Outside peak season, we can often arrange a trip with a few weeks' notice. Whenever you're planning to travel, reach out early so we can lock in your preferred camps.
